How to Stream Kindle Fire Video to TV?

"Is there any cord, or something that I can buy that would allow me to connect my kindle fire to my TV?"

"I have a kindle fire. But the TV does not recognize the kindle fire and won't show the HDMI on the Input selections. How do I fix it so it will come on?"

In fact, the original Kindle Fire didn't have any support for a connection to a TV. Many users were turned off by this. So, this means you can't send video out to a TV natively. But you can connect your Kindle Fire with your computer and then copy your Kindle Fire movie to your computer Hard Drive, finally connect the HDTV to the computer using a video cable to stream the Fire video files to TV success.

Stream Kindle Fire Videos to TV/HDTV:
First, Please connect the Kindle Fire to Computer via USB, and then copy your Kindle Fire Movie to Computer.

Note: You may buy or rent movies from Netflix, Facebook, Hulu Plus, Pandora etc websites, these movie may be FLV, F4V, MKV, MOV, AVI, WMV etc formats, which can't be supported by HDTV/TV. You can convert these video to MP4 etc TV/HDTV supported formats with Kindle Fire Video Converter before importing to TV

If the video is MP4 etc HDTV/TV supported format, now, you can connect the computer to an HDTV:
1: Connect the HDTV to the computer using a video cable. (The cable you use for this step will depend on the video outputs that your computer has and the video inputs that your HDTV has) common types of video connections shared by computers and HDTVs include HDMI, DVI, VGA and S-Video.

2: Turn on the HDTV and select the input that you connected the video cable to in step 1. On most HDTVs this is done by pressing the "input" or "source" button either on the remote or on the front of the HDTV. You may see an image of your computer desktop on the HDTV at this point.

Note: if the step 2 not success, please Open the Control Panel from the start menu on your computer and select the "Printers and Other Hardware" shortcut. Select the "See also" tab on the top of the window, and then click on the "Add Hardware" shortcut. Follow the on-screen instructions to add your HDTV as a second monitor for your computer. If the step 2 is ok, please go to next step.

3: Change the resolution on your computer to a resolution that your HDTV supports. To change the resolution, right-click on your computers desktop and select "Personalize". Click on the "Display" option on the bottom left of the window, then select "Adjust Resolution" in the upper left corner of the window. Most support 720p, some also support 1080p.

Now, you have success streamed the Kindle Fire movie to TV for playback.

Additional, the newer Kindle Fire HD has an HDMI port for your TV viewing needs. If you wish to connect your Kindle Fire HD to a TV, all you need is a standard Micro HDMI to Standard HDMI cable. Just connect the cable between your device and an available HDMI port on your TV, and you're ready to enjoy watching any content on your Kindle Fire HD on your TV.  

Note: The HDMI connection will only work for those of you with newer high-definition TV sets. If you want to connect your Kindle Fire HD to an older, analog TV, you'll need additional equipment. You'll need a box to convert the signal from digital to analog to make it compatible with the 3 RCA jacks on the back of the TV in addition to the Micro HDMI to Standard HDMI cable.

Now, you have success add Kindle Fire movie to the Fire HD now, whatever is on the screen of your Kindle Fire HD will appear on your TV.
